I’m incredibly passionate about Sports and People, so I was excited to be able to combine them in pursuing Physio. Growing up I ran every morning, danced and competed in several team sports. Weekly, now I play Squash, Touch Rugby and Volleyball. From a young age, I unfortunately have been well acquainted with injuries and was regularly in Physio. So, I started studying Physiotherapy in South Africa and then transferred to the states where I completed my Doctor of Physical Therapy. I pursued specialties in Manual Therapy, Sports Rehab, Concussion management and Spine Injuries- to develop a comprehensive approach in treating a variety of conditions. My first work experience was in the IMF where I worked with a lot of executives, since I have worked with Pro, Semi-Pro and High School athletes in a variety of settings. For over 5 years I’ve covered many different field sports from Football to Polo which I thoroughly enjoy; including the Georgetown Rugby Team.
